ILC Washington Announces K-12 Pilot
(July 27, 2006) The Camas Institute
Foundation and ILC Washington have jointly announced their intention to launch
a pilot program in selected Washington school districts during the course of
the 2006-2007 school year.
“The intention is to create web-based
learning resources that deeply align with the planned new Washington social
studies curriculum,” said ILC Washington publisher Randy Morse. “Presently, we
have two pilots confirmed – one with the cooperation of the Kalispel Tribe,
together with the Cusick and Spokane Public School Districts, the other with
the collaboration of the Tulalip Tribes and schools in the Tulalip and
Marysville School Districts,” he added.
“Our hope is to expand the pilot program to
include a number of other Washington tribes and school districts during the
2006-2007 school year. Talks are underway with this goal in mind,” Morse
concluded. > Click Here For a Demo of the Pilot
